Child Protection Awareness Days in 2008
These one-day courses are designed to offer a basic grounding
in Child Protection understanding and good practice, and
are intended for parish staff, children's and youth workers,
parish child protection representatives and clergy who wish
to refresh their knowledge.
Thu Sep 25 West Devon (Plymouth)
There are other dates Outside Plymouth
These full-day sessions explore the nature and impacts
of Child Abuse, its effects on individuals and communities,
and the role the Church can play in preventing, promoting
or permitting abuse.
The sessions then deal with the practical application
of Child Protection policy in a parish situation, from
best practice in youth and children’s activities to managing
administration.
Please email child.protection@exeter.anglican.org if
you would be interested in attending one of the 2008 training
days as there is an application form that will need to
be filled in. |
