The purpose of CTiP is to:-
• provide a focus for church unity across the city. When
appropriate,
speak to other institutions on behalf of city Churches / Christians.
• build networks of the Christian churches, missions and ministries;
enable and enhance communications between organisations.
• provide a forum for church and para-church leaders to share vision, be
informed, edified and encouraged.
• seek the Lord for His strategy in extending the Kingdom of God in the
city; oversee Christian ministries raised up under CTiP.
• provide a link for satellite Churches-together groups. |
The Roles of CTiP Staff are:
| Chairman |
- To lead meetings, guide strategy, direction
and tasks.
- To write newsletters and organise publicity for
events.
- To liaise with Church leaders.

| Secretary |
- To provide organisation and administration for events.
- To
network with City organisations.
- To undertake compiling
agendas & minutes of meetings.

| Chaplain |
- To work under Lay-readership banner.
- To network Church and
Para-church organisations.
- To co-ordinate Prayer ministries
and burdens.

| Publicist |
- To guide and assist with Publicity & Marketing
- To link
with Creative & Performing arts and Children's
work opportunities.
- To assist with admin and office working.

| Treasurer |
- To keep accounts of CTiP financial affairs.
- To assist with
budgeting & forecasting.
|
| Administrator |
- To assist with maintenance of data bases
- To assist with
mail shots and office documentation
|
| Webmaster |
- To place any information provided on the
website regarding Chuches, Events and other Christian activities
in Plymouth
|
